Studies of the Tower structure begun in 1884. Its construction last a
little more than 2 years : From 1887 to 1889 (2 years, 2 months and 5
days). The Eiffel tower is made of : 18,038 pieces, 2,500,000 rivets
and weights a little more than 10,000 tons - The Height is 324m with
flagpole... And to end with if you plan to take the stairs (Yes it is
possible) you will have to go through 1665 steps ! |
